“ So excited to have a new thai restaurant in riverdale/kingsbridge. There are many asian fusion places around that don't hit the mark when it comes to Thai. Moon Thai solely focuses on bringing authentic flavors with fresh ingredients. I loved their green curry- spicy and rich sauce, velvety eggplant, crisp green peppers and bamboo shoots. I choose tofu which was nice and firm- but u have several protein options to choose from. I also ordered the tom-yum soup with shrimp- great balanced lemongrass broth for this fall cool weather, soft poached shrimp, medium spice level. I look forward to ordering from them again and highly recommend it!. ”
“ *UPDATE* -- Moon Thai Kitchen is gone. A new restaurant is opening in its place: FEI Thai Hibachi Sushi. No idea if this is a rebranding or an entirely new business. ----- This restaurant has been closed for quite a while now. The sign on the door and the phone message say "Sorry for the inconvenience," not "we are closed forever," but it doesn't look promising. It's a shame, because this is one of the few good restaurants in Riverdale. ”
“ I am so happy this restaurant is finally open! I have eaten Thai food all over the city and I always wished there was a good Thai restaurant here. I can finally recommend a good Thai restaurant in the Bronx! My wife and I ordered the Mango Salad, Duck Salad, Drunken Noodles, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and a Mango and Taro Bubble Tea. My wife loved her mango salad and I liked my duck salad although the duck was a bit dry. However the sauce on the duck makes up for it. The drunken noodles were pretty spicy and will satisfy anyone who likes spicy food. Our only complaint was that the fried rice was not spicy. Perhaps the person who took our order misheard us; it was still delicious. Finally the bubble tea, my wife and I absolutely love bubble tea and this restaurant makes a solid one. Considering there are no bubble tea spots around here, this is a must try for anyone who doesn't want to go into the city to get one. ”
“ We stopped by. They have maybe two tables open. We ordered and received our food in to go manner. I got the Thai curry it was good I feel like it needed some more flavor but it was still yummy and a good portion size. The lady was working alone up front and she was very nice to all of the guest when they arrived to pick up their food. ”
“ Delicious fried rice but the fried tofu is bland with no seasoning. Some seasoning before frying would really improve the taste. Overall, 4/5 for fried rice and friendly service. ”
“ I Love the food and the service. The ladies that take my order are always nice n my food gets to me nice n hot and delicious thank u so much for your service. Everything I had so far so good I can't say how the place looks because I never been there, I usually order for delivery. ”
“ I had the Take out. Green Curry and Papaya Salad Firstly, I am happy and appreciative that I can get Thai food here. It’s hard to get at the Bronx. The delivery was good. I liked the green curry. The papaya salad could use juice as it lacked some flavor All in all happy I got it ”
“ The best shrimp fried rice I ever had. My husband is a picky eater, he had two servings of shrimp fried rice today . This restaurant is a must try. ”
